Encouraging Adoption

Kate's Critter Care advocates animal rescue, and encourages you to consider adopting an animal in need the next time you wish to expand your animal family.

The Animal Protection Society of Durham cares for more than 6,000 homeless, abused, and neglected animals in our community every year. We are active volunteers and supporters of the APS and are privileged to have many APS alumni among our dog and cat clients!

There are many ways to support the APS in its year-round mission to build lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach, and providing care for animals in need. Every little bit helps in the way of DONATIONS (money or supplies), ADOPTIONS, VOLUNTEERING, and FOSTERING.

Please visit the APS website to learn more.
